Leigh Leopards are greatly saddened to learn of the passing of Derek Disley who for over 30 years was a brilliant commentator on Leigh games.

Derek finally hung up his microphone in 2013. He was an active member of the supporters club in Hilton Park days and had an outstanding all round knowledge of sport. This enabled him to win many local and national sports quizzes.

He was a lovely man and an ardent Leigh supporter. Sincere condolences to his family and friends
