Club owner Derek Beaumont said: “We are well past 6,000 members and fast approaching 6,500 which is a phenomenal response from our townsfolk. The support for the Academy via Gold Plus memberships and those signing up to the monthly subscription from different tiers, along with some individual donations, is highly motivating that we can really push on and start to build an elite academy to harvest the outstanding young talent in our town and surrounding areas.
“We will shortly be releasing our full line up of entertainment for the 13 home fixtures to take place on the AB Sundecks stage and we are also working on improving the overall match day experience for our members.
“There has never been a better time to support the club and with the Red Card membership guaranteeing you access to two fixtures of your choice and a guaranteed opportunity to reserve your place for any other fixture ahead of general sale it’s the perfect way to engage with the club and join our Famileigh as a member with a low-cost commitment.”
Mr Beaumont then provided an update on Leopards TV and the squad’s preparations for the forthcoming season.
He said: “The squad will be departing to La Santa in Lanzarote with club principal sponsor Jet2 on the 10th January and you will be able to keep up to date with what’s going on as you see the content of Leopards TV start to ramp up, including a review of 2024 from myself and chairman Mike Latham.
“We will be giving subscribers of LTV a real good insight to the hard work and fun that is endured in La Santa along with some exclusive interviews from the players and staff.
“It’s a great time to sign up to the channel for £2.99 per month with all proceeds from the subscriptions being returned to developing the department with equipment and staff to eventually seeing any profit diverted to the academy with the channel being a robust income stream for its future.
“I am looking forward to spending some time with Adrian and the boys and getting to know our new players, especially with the membership work largely completed, as I haven’t had a chance to see them in action despite hearing really good things about the preseason.
“It’s also where I get the opportunity to address the squad and set our goals for the season which I am excited to do.”
Mr Beaumont concluded: “I would like to thank everyone for their support of the club, however big or small. I am well aware that one person’s £10 can be a bigger sacrifice than another person’s £1,000. It’s about supporting at whatever level you can and I am grateful to everyone for coming together to create something so special.
“Let’s keep growing this Famileigh and the Leopards brand so that Leopards become so massive everywhere we go that we need to start looking to expand the stadium capacity.
“We can do this over time by keeping that growth curve we have developed over the last three years.
“I look forward to seeing more of you over the coming days collecting your packages and will be on hand to resolve any issues that occur.”
