Leigh Leopards can confirm that Keanan Brand has joined Widnes Vikings on a one month loan.

The 25-year-old began his professional career with the Vikings and moved on to Warrington Wolves before joining Leigh, initially on loan, in 2021.

Leopards head of rugby Chris Chester said: “Keanan is still in his rehabilitation from the injury he sustained in pre-season.

“We’ve been really happy with the progress Louis Brogan and Tom Nisbet have made as a result of their time with Widnes, so it is the perfect place for Keanan to get some competitive minutes under his belt.”
