Leigh Leopards are delighted to confirm the signing of winger Innes Senior on a two-year contract following his release from Castleford Tigers.
The 25-year-old Ireland international is a proven Super League try-scorer having graduated through the academy ranks and commenced his senior career with Huddersfield Giants in 2018 alongside twin brother Louis.
Innes Senior visited the Leopards Den this morning and told Media & Press Manager Terry Rytz: “I’m really excited by the opportunity. Watching you guys play for the past few years, how you’ve risen up from the Championship, I think it’s definitely one of the most exciting clubs to be playing for.
“I am just buzzing to get it over the line. After that first conversation, my heart was set on it I amjust really excited.
“To go to a club like this, and the way, you play. You move the ball, you’ve got great outside backs already. You got the biggest assist maker in the league as well. There’s so many reasons for this move to be a good one.
“Every time I’ve played here, there’s been a great atmosphere and you’ve improved on that as well in the past couple of years. You know the atmosphere before the game, all the fire and, and everything else that goes on around the stadium. It’s somewhere I’ve enjoyed playing anyway, something I’m excited for.
“It’s a massive opportunity for me, and I’m ready to take it. So, I’m just really excited to play for us. You see, there’s a really positive buzz about the place and I can’t wait to meet everybody.”
Leopards Head Coach Adrian Lam said: “I have been a big fan of Innes over the years. He has the X factor about him and he can break tackles at will when he is playing confidently and at the top of his game.
“His genuine speed is certainly an asset that we welcome into our squad and his ability to score tries and long-range tries is what we are all looking forward to.
“He has great size, he competes well, and he is a player that we are excited to watch develop further within our system.”
After loan spells at Wakefield Trinity Senior joined Castleford initially on loan in 2024, scoring 17 Super League tries last year and has since taken his topflight tally to 61 at nearly a try every other game.

“He’s had plenty of Super League experience, he’s 6 foot 4 inches tall and fast, the ideal qualities for a winger.
