LEIGH LEOPARDS BOW OUT OF THE CHALLENGE CUP WITH PRIDE AND GRATITUDE
Leigh Leopards would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Warrington Wolves following today’s Betfred Challenge Cup semi-final. While the result didn’t go our way, we are incredibly proud of our players, staff, and, above all, our loyal supporters — the Leythers — who stood behind us with passion and pride, being THE ROAR every step of the way.
This was a hard-fought, emotional contest between two determined teams, and we offer our sincere respect to our neighbours for their performance and wish them the very best as they go on to compete in the final against Hull KR. Rugby League is built on moments like this — tough, honest competition played in the right spirit — and today was no exception.
To our fans, we cannot thank you enough. From the terraces to the town, your unwavering support drives us forward in every game, every season. You travelled, you sang, you believed — and though today wasn’t the result we hoped for, your backing means the world to everyone at the club. The pride we feel wearing the Leigh badge comes, in large part, from the passion of our community.
The journey doesn’t end here — it’s part of the foundation we continue to build at Leigh Leopards. This year we aim to go one better than last year in the Betfred Super League. Our focus now shifts to the Battle of the Borough Part II and our trip to the Brick Community Stadium next Friday to play Wigan Warriors.
What a team we have, what a town we have, what supporters we have. Together we are Stronger!
Leopards are Massive. Everywhere We Go. Be the Roar!
Thank you, Leythers!
