Betfred Challenge Cup Third Round
Leigh Leopards have been drawn away to North Wales Crusaders or Bedford Tigers in the third round of the Betfred Challenge Cup.
The draw was made this afternoon during the Championship launch at the DIY Kitchens Stadium, Wakefield.
All Super League teams are automatically drawn away at this stage of the competition.
The tie will be played over the weekend of 6-8 February, the week before the start of the Betfred Super League.
Crusaders were League One Champions in 2025 and play at the Stadiwm Eiras in Colwyn Bay.
They recently signed former Leigh prop Mark Ioane, who was a member of the then Centurions’ record-breaking 2022 season.
Bedford Tigers finished third in the Southern Conference in 2025 and yesterday defeated Medway Tigers 36-6 in the first round stage, the first Challenge Cup to be played in Bedford.
Leopards’ third round opponents will be confirmed on 25 January when the Crusaders host the Tigers at Colwyn Bay.
