Leigh Leopards can confirm that Louis Brogan has joined Widnes Vikings on a two week loan agreement.
Brogan, 24, joined his hometown club from Swinton Lions last autumn and made his Leopards debut against Castleford Tigers in Betfred Super League Round 10, earning Heritage Number HN#1562.
He recently returned from an injury from that game in the Leopards Reserves’ victory over Bradford Bulls last Saturday.
Brogan will be reunited with Vikings head coach Allan Coleman who was his coach at Swinton.
Leopards Head of Rugby Chris Chester said: “Louis has made an excellent transition to being a full-time professional and the injury he sustained on debut was unfortunate for him, as he impressed everyone.
“This is an ideal opportunity for him to sharpen his match preparation in a good environment in a team that has been playing really well in the Championship.
“I look forward to watching him in action for the Vikings and we shall be monitoring his progress closely with a view to him challenging for first team contention upon his return.”
Louis Brogan is sponsored by The Leigh Fans.
