Leigh Leopards can confirm that a preseason warm up game had been arranged against Warrington Wolves.

The game will be staged at the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Friday 30 January with an 8pm kick-off.

The two clubs have been regular opponents in warm up games in recent seasons with Leopards fulfilling testimonials for Toby King and Joe Philbin respectively.

This will be Leopards’ only preseason fixture ahead of the start of the Betfred Super League.

Head coach Adrian Lam will take the opportunity to run the rule over his squad in match action ahead of the new campaign.

Preseason signings such as Jacob Alick-Wiencke and Adam Cook will be looking forward to their first games in a Leopards shirt.

Leopards traditionally take a big following to their close neighbours and after a long winter without rugby many supporters will be pencilling this game in their diaries with great anticipation.
