Leigh Leopards can confirm that Tom Nisbet has extended his loan to Widnes Vikings by another two weeks.

Nisbet impressed on debut in the Vikings’ 16-14 Betfred Championship home win over Doncaster recently.

 

The Vikings are at home to Whitehaven in the Betfred Championship this Sunday (3pm) and then travel to France to play Toulouse Olympique.

 

Leopards Head of Rugby Chris Chester said: “Tom enjoyed his initial time at Widnes and this loan gives him an ideal opportunity to play more games in a good environment. He is in a team that has lost only one league game so far this season and has already created a very favourable impression.

 

“I shall look forward to watching Tom in action and shall be keenly watching his performances.”
