Reserves, Mend-A-Hose Jungle
Sunday 13 April 2025 (1pm)
Castleford Tigers 18-36 Leigh Leopards
The Mend-A-Hose Jungle was a happy hunting ground for the Leopards over the weekend.
Just 15 hours after the first team completed a 20-6 Betfred Super League victory over the Tigers, Stuart Littler’s Reserves side earned their first win of the season at the same venue.
Littler’s Reserves side had first team squad members Brad Dwyer, Ben McNamara, AJ Towse, Andrew Badrock and Jack Darbyshire at their disposal and all played a part as Leopards’ strong second half display sealed the points.
Dwyer organised the side well and contributed two tries, one on each half while Towse and Darbyshire were also on the scoresheet and McNamara kicked four goals.
TJ Boyd, Callum Disley and Bailey Pemberton all scored second half tries as Leopards, 14-6 ahead at half-time, took command of the game in the last quarter.
Three converted tries, the first Disley’s game-changing score on the hour-mark, followed by Pemberton and Dwyer made sure of a successful away day.
