R.I.P Mark mORAN (HN#1039)
Leigh Leopards are greatly saddened to learn of the passing of their former player Mark Moran (HN#1039) and pass on sincere condolences to his family and friends.
Mark joined Leigh from Salford in 1992 having made 82 appearances for the Red Devils. from his debut on Boxing Day 1986. He was a product of the Simms Cross club in Widnes.
A clever and industrious hooker, he found first team opportunities hard to come by at Hilton Park but was twice selected for Wales while a Leigh player.
He made his international debut in a 36-11 defeat against England at Swansea and then played in a fine 19-18 win over France in Perpignan in December 1992.
