Leigh Leopards can confirm that Nathan Wilde has joined Widnes Vikings on loan.
Wilde has just completed a successful five-game loan spell at fellow Betfred Championship club Doncaster in which the Dons won three and drew one as he proved his fitness following an injury in preseason.
He also impressed in the Leopards Reserves as they defeated league leaders St Helens Reserves 26-14 in a high-quality game at Sutton Park on Saturday.
Leopards Head of Rugby Chris Chester said: “After Nathan impressed at Doncaster, going to Widnes is another opportunity for him to get vital game time and keep himself sharp.”
Wilde, 24, is a former Wigan Warriors junior who joined the Leopards from Newcastle Thunder and made ten first-team appearances last year, his first at the Leopards Den.
