A message from Club Owner Derek Beaumont

I would like to thank all our members for their continued valued support and their patience whilst we prepare and make available the greatest membership in Super League.

A tremendous amount of hard work and planning goes into what has become the heartbeat of our Famileigh and my personal highlight of the year, when we get to engage club staff, players, volunteers and officials with our fans. Today we started the collection process, and a lot of the delays in providing a streamlined collection were caused by our communications not being followed. We only have available to collect what we communicate, so attending on the off chance merely causes delays for others. It is also important that you have your membership details with you, which, if you do not have an existing membership, can be found at the top of your confirmation receipt. This enables our staff and volunteers to serve you quickly and reduce queues.

We had previously communicated a 9am opening tomorrow. I am delaying this until 10am so that we can have enough time to process the additional memberships into the area, which has now increased to #9700 for Gold memberships bought before 26th November, and also includes the large number of personalised Josh Charnley shirts and new signing Adam Cook. Our team in the warehouse will complete all Gold and Gold Plus memberships tomorrow, and these will be made available on Friday, with additional personalised shirt items being added throughout the day, which we will communicate.

We have added some additional features, with the selection of who packed your membership and personalising your shirt, along with upgrading to full kits, all of which are great features but have added detail to our processes that have taken us a little longer than anticipated. I hope that members will be pleased with those additions and the overall value of the membership. I will be personally on hand tomorrow to deal with any issues that may arise, and given we have in-house control over all aspects of the process, we can guarantee all our members will receive their packages in the format that they purchased them and in good time for Christmas. I look forward to seeing as many of you as I can to personally thank you for your support.

Lastly, I would like to thank all our staff across my numerous businesses and all our friends and volunteers. The amount of hours and work put in is inspiring and highly motivating to see how much the club means to you. I would like to thank Charlie from Jet2 and his team of pilots and cabin crew, who worked non-stop today to support Jane, while me, Neil and Steve remained back assisting our team with facilitating the compiling of the packages. Please watch out for future updates, including when players will be making appearances and when your membership will be available for collection. We will also be open at the weekend, so there is plenty of time to make your collection, and everyone’s shirt or kit of choice is secured, so if you’re the last person to collect their package, it will include everything it was intended to.
