Club and Debeau Performance owner Derek Beaumont said: “Today is right up there as one of the proudest moments in my life and in rugby, second only to winning the Challenge Cup.

“It has been incredibly exciting launching a brand and being able to choose professional and amateur Rugby League clubs to gain significant exposure at an extremely competitive price gives it a great start. To see a logo that has such a significant personal meaning to me, that can also be touching to everyone in their own way. When people read the story contained in the care label of the garments, they can have anyone they want held close to their heart within that logo.

“Having just attended a sports performance show in Europe I was amazed by how many heads were turned as we walked around in the club’s training kit and the response we received when we shared the physical replica shirt that has now been revealed.

“The story of the Dragonfly in flight and the way it has been created using shapes from an iconic Lamborghini is a fantastic creation and I would like to thank our fantastic head designer for creating this. I wanted to give him free rein on this year’s shirt and I want to share exactly his words that he sent with the design to support it to me.

“Bradley is a local lad and a club fan, and that comes through in his comments:

“Celebrating our home and one of the many habitats of the leopard, this season’s home shirt is inspired by the savannas and grasslands where these incredible animals thrive. The tall grass not only shapes the landscape but enables leopards to stalk and ambush their prey with both ferocity and elegance.

“Leopard print has become a core part of Leigh Leopards’ identity. But this season, through our unique partnership with the club, we set out to reinterpret the iconic pattern, transforming it into a fresh, fashion-forward design that elevates tradition in a bold new way.

“The new home shirt is designed to turn heads. Whether under stadium lights or styled for everyday wear, it’s designed to make a statement.”

Derek Beaumont continued: “It certainly made a statement with me as the owner of the brand and the club and when shared the design with the club staff, everyone loved it. However, Bradley then sent a curve ball into the team when he changed the colourway from the original he had sent after some discussions and made it the traditional red we have been rooted in.

“Creating the video, I wanted to bring everything together. The greatest showman calling the players and fans to the ground. The fan drummer leading the fans to the stadium as the players raced to beat them in the Lamborghinis which represent the Debeau Performance logo, and the players bursting into the stadium as they do on game day to the special pre-match effects.

“Everyone at the club has been brilliant working on this, including the fans and I would like to pay a massive compliment and thanks to Terry Rytz who worked day and night, meticulously editing the masses of film that was recorded. I would also like to thank all the DFX crew and volunteers and everyone that contributed to what is a fantastic kit launch. Now we just need to try and do it all again for the away kit launch after Christmas.”
