Leigh Leopards are pleased to issue this important Membership Update which includes details of limited availability in Platinum Card and Black Card Memberships.
Owner Derek Beaumont and IT consultant Mark Lee have been analysing the data from the first week of sales after undertaking a detailed review to ensure that heritage numbers are protected and issued correctly.
Mr Beaumont said: “So far, we can confirm that over 4,000 memberships were purchased in the first week, which is an incredible uptake from our fans. We thank you for your dedicated and loyal support.
“It is interesting to see the number of Red Card members who have switched to Gold Card membership and the expansion of individual members into full families.
“There are also a significant number of full family membership additions who were not previously members.
“From the data purely from the first week, with existing members still to renew, we are on target to smash our last season’s all-time club record of memberships. This would give us a great start to our aim of going up an IMG tier in the attendances pillar by the end of 2025, to improve our grading score, which is already Grade A.
“Moreover, as we are next year running our Elite Academy it is gratifying to note that in the first week over 250 people have taken out Gold Plus Card membership. This includes a ring-fenced contribution to the Elite Academy.
“On top of that over one hundred members have signed up to contribute to the Academy from other membership tiers and we have received a four-figure sum already in one-off donations to the Academy.”
Please note, as previously advised, supporters must purchase memberships before next Wednesday (13 November) to guarantee their package before the Christmas deadline. Existing members have until 30 November to renew their existing seat or their place in the North Stand.
- Our initial sales update shows that more than 500 members have opted to take out a membership package that includes a replica shirt who didn’t have that package in their membership last year. Only 82 members have chosen to change their membership package the other way.
- Over 750 new members or RED Card members have purchased a full membership for the first time. Welcome onboard!
Due to several upgrades from the Platinum Card membership to the Black Card memberships we are pleased to be able to offer a small number of places in this membership tier that weren’t previously available for sale.

Black Card Membership is our highest level of membership, and the availability is limited and sure to sell out soon.
