Leigh Leopards can confirm that Keanan Brand has joined Bradford Bulls on an initial two week loan spell.

The Betfred Championship side open their league programme on 15 March at Wakefield Trinity but are in AB Sundecks 1895 Cup quarterfinal action at home to Swinton Lions on Sunday.

Formerly with Widnes Vikings and Warrington Wolves Brand, 25, was a member of the Vikings side which reached the final of the 1895 Cup in 2019.

Leigh Leopards’ Head of Rugby Chris Chester said: “This is a good opportunity for Keanan to get some good quality game time.”
