Today was a great occasion for the game of Rugby League that we all love so much, and we were proud to be a part of it all.
To mark the team’s achievements, we will be holding an open top bus tour and victory parade of Leigh and surrounding areas tomorrow (Sunday).
This will be a special occasion and we urge as many of our fantastic fans as possible to join the journey at some point and roar the Leopards home.
The bus will enter the borough through Astley, Tyldesley and Atherton between 4pm and 4.30pm, and is expected to arrive in Leigh from between 5pm and 5.30pm.
You can roar the team on at any point of the seven-mile route, from the Bull’s Head, Astley, before they journey to Tyldesley and Atherton town centre highstreets. From there, the players will make their way to Leigh town centre where a brief celebratory reception will take place outside Leigh Town Hall.

We are expecting Leigh town centre to be very busy on this day. The event area will be open to the public from 3.30pm so please arrive with enough time to secure your place. Please be aware that space and facilities in the town centre will be limited and so we would encourage fans to line the whole route to give the Leopards the welcome home they deserve.
Please be aware that various road closures will be in place across the entire route, but in particular in Leigh Town Centre from 2pm including: Railway Road, Market Street, Market Place and King Street. Due to industrial action on the buses and diversions, please make sure to plan your travel accordingly.
The safety of fans is of paramount importance to us and so bag searches will be in place. We would encourage fans to utilise local food offers as no food will be being sold on site. Alcohol and glass are not permitted and the only dogs allowed entry will be assistance dogs. Toilet facilities will be available on site.
We look forward to seeing you there!
