Compassion in Action’s valued ambassador, Edwin Ipape, visited the charity’s headquarters today as part of his continued mission to give back to the community.
Pam Gilligan, Founder & CEO of Compassion in Action, is helping Edwin to address water poverty amongst street children in his home nation of Papua New Guinea (PNG) – an international collaboration featured in the latest book to be published by St. James’s House: The Commonwealth at 75.
The Leigh Leopards hooker and PNG international spoke with Pam’s valued friend, Bill Hampson OBE, Director of The Epiphany Trust. Having heard about The Trust’s work with young, disadvantaged and disabled people, Edwin and Bill discussed the importance of joined-up approaches to delivering charitable projects both at home and overseas – evidencing Compassion in Action’s core value: ‘We are stronger together’.
