Leigh Leopards are delighted to confirm that Leigh Market will continue their long-running kit partnership with the club for the 2026 season.
Leopards COO Steve Kerr said: “Leigh Market has been an outstanding partner in recent years, and I’m delighted to extend the partnership into 2026.
“Leigh Market is a vital part of the community, and it provides our retail store with the perfect location to reach our supporters.
“I’d like to pass on our thanks to the Leigh Market Traders Association, Nick Hutchinson, the Town Centre Officer, and Wigan Council for their continuing support.
“The club’s partnership with Leigh Market is an important one and is highly valued. It is a great facility with an extensive range of goods and services at great value for money and many of the stallholders and visitors to the Market are avid Leopards’ supporters.
“I’d invite all our supporters to support Leigh Market and the traders. Whenever you visit, you’ll find that Rugby League in general and the Leopards in particular are among the main topics of conversation.”
Leader of Wigan Council, Councillor David Molyneux MBE said: “I’m really pleased to see that the long-standing partnership between Leigh Leopards and Leigh Market will continue into the 2026 Super League season.
“This collaboration has been a great way to support both the club and the market over the years, and I know that many fans have taken advantage of Leopards’ kits and merchandise at their town centre market stall.
“The kit partnership is particularly important as Leigh Market is set to embark on a transformation project next year, and the council will continue to celebrate and support our wonderful community venues, sports clubs, and residents across the borough.
“Good luck to the Leopards and their fans for the upcoming season.”
