Leigh Leopards to Auction Signed Player-Worn Warm-Up Shirts in Aid of Wigan & Leigh Hospice
Leigh Leopards are proud to continue our support for Wigan & Leigh Hospice following our recent fixture against Wigan Warriors on Thursday 4th July, by auctioning the specially-designed warm-up shirts worn by the players on the night.
We had an incredible day in Round 17, with the hospice raising over £2000 in on-the-spot donations!
With proceeds from the sales of the shirt and the upcoming auctions, we are set to raise over £20,000 to support this incredible cause!
Our fans can really get behind this cause and bid for their favourite player’s game-worn shirt! Each shirt is a genuine, player-worn item and has been personally signed by the player, making it a unique collector’s item. 100% of proceeds from the auction will be donated directly to Wigan & Leigh Hospice, supporting the vital care and services they provide within our community.
The first set of shirts will feature Bailey Hodgson, Matt Davis, and Andrew Badrock.
Bidding will open on Monday 14th July at 7:00pm and will close on Wednesday 16th July at midnight.
This is a fantastic opportunity for fans to own a one-of-a-kind piece of Leigh Leopards history while supporting a local charity that continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of so many.
Further signed player-worn shirts will be released in subsequent sets, with full details to be shared via our official channels.
“As a hospice, we need to raise £12,500 every single day to keep the doors open and continue providing excellent care to those who need us in the Wigan and Leigh borough. We can’t thank Leigh Leopards enough for their continued support and generosity and can’t wait to see how much the shirts raise for the hospice. Thank you everyone from the bottom of our hearts.”
