Leigh Leopards can confirm that AJ Towse has joined Widnes Vikings on loan.

The 21-year-old former York Knights winger has impressed in his two Betfred Super League appearances to date having joined the Leopards in the closed season.

Towse has extensive experience in the Betfred Championship having scored 35 tries at a try every two games during the last four seasons with the Knights.

The loan move is ideal for all parties. Towse will add firepower to the Vikings backline as they chase a play-off place while also keeping match fit ready for further opportunities with the Leopards.
