29. ELISE GATER

Birthdate: 18/01/2006
Position: Winger
Nickname: Gater

MY RUGBY LEAGUE JOURNEY: I started rugby when I was 16, after quitting gymnastics which I did since being six years old and competing for Great Britain. After this my dad took me to the Miners girls training which I then fell in love with instantly. My journey in rugby has been a rollercoaster as last season I suffered a scary back injury, and I was told I could possibly not play again. So, to be back playing again is a massive achievement for me and I can’t wait to continue my journey in Rugby League.

FORMER CLUBS: Leigh Miners Rangers u16s, Wigan Warriors Academy U19s.

REP HONOURS: DiSE England U19s.

RUGBY LEAGUE HERO: Joshua Addo-Carr.

CAREER HIGHLIGHT: My career highlight is being selected for Leigh Leopards and playing my first game in the Leigh Sports Village Stadium.

AMBITION: My career goal is to play for an international team.
