MY RUGBY LEAGUE JOURNEY: I always played football at a high level but when I had children I stopped playing as I struggled to commit the time. I started playing rugby union at my local club and then joined Rochdale Hornets. After lockdown I decided to take rugby a bit more seriously so moved to Bradford Bulls and got on the GB teachers’ team. I then joined Leigh Leopards in June 2023.

REP HONOURS: Great Britain teachers’ team, 2022 and 2023.

RUGBY LEAGUE HERO: Portia Woodman.

CAREER HIGHLIGHT: Winning the Northern and Nationals Finals and then gaining promotion to the Super League.

AMBITION: Being a bit older than most of the girls it’s all about survival!
