Leigh Leopards head to the Brick Community Stadium on Saturday for the play-off semi-final in the Betfred Super League against Wigan Warriors.
Adrian Lam’s Leopards did us proud with their fantastic performance in the eliminator at Salford when the huge travelling support provided the Roar to cheer the team to victory. The Leopards’ head coach knows he can count on supporters to ‘Be the Roar’ once again.
“Our fans are fantastic, and we love them dearly,” he said. “I say that every week and I know they’ll travel in big numbers once again.
“The atmosphere they brought to our last home game against Saints and to Salford was fantastic and it will be no different at Wigan.
“We are proud of them, and they are proud of us. There’s a great buzz around town now. It’s great to be a part of and we all need to enjoy every minute.”
Reigning Super League champions Wigan Warriors stand between the Leopards and a first visit to Old Trafford. Lam is under no illusions about the importance of the game.
“it’s the biggest game in the club’s history in the Super League era,” he said. “We understand that. It’s only the third time in the club’s history we’ve reached this stage, and the last time was in 1951.
“It’s incredible how hard we’ve worked as a group to put ourselves in a position for this opportunity.
“I feel really proud of the group. We go to our neighbours, and we are 80 minutes away from Old Trafford.
“We have earned the right to be here. They are red hot favourites especially at home. But we need to go there and do what we’ve been doing for the past 12 weeks but do a little bit more to get what we deserve.”

Tickets can be purchased online or in person. However, online purchases can only be collected from 10am Thursday 3rd October to reduce congestion at the ticket office for those attending in person to purchase.
