Jack Ashworth joins the Leopards with more than 100 Super League appearances and a wealth of experience across the competition. A powerful and versatile forward, he began his professional career with St Helens, making his first-team debut in 2015 and going on to play a key role in their successful 2019 campaign, including their Super League Grand Final victory over Salford. He also featured in the 2019 Challenge Cup Final at Wembley.

Born in Rochdale, Jack came through the St Helens academy system and gained valuable experience in the Championship with loan spells at Rochdale Hornets, Sheffield Eagles and Leigh. He later enjoyed spells with Huddersfield Giants and Hull FC before joining Castleford Tigers ahead of the 2026 season. Known for his size, athleticism and tough carries through the middle, he can also operate in the back row and represented the England Knights in 2019. Ashworth now returns to Leigh on a permanent deal until the end of 2028.
