In signing Adam Cook from Canberra Raiders on a three-year contract, Leopards acquired a highly rated and talented goalkicking halfback.

Cook captained the Raiders’ Reserve grade team in 2025, kicking 102 goals and scoring seven tries in 24 games, for a tally of 232pts.

Queensland-born in Charters Towers, he attended Ignatius Park College, a renowned educational establishment that has nurtured many future NRL players.

He signed for Canberra Raiders in October 2019 and made his NRL debut against Cronulla in Round 20 of the 2020 season.

Cook became a regular in the Queensland Cup, playing for Redcliffe and Mackay Cutters and following his release from Canberra was a member of North Queensland’s 30-man squad in 2023.

He re-joined the Raiders for the 2024 season, playing six NRL games that year and another in 2025. Cook was top scorer for the Raiders Reserve grade side in 2024 with 168pts in 20 games before enjoying his most prolific season to date in 2025.

Such was the respect with which he was held, he captained Raiders’ Reserve grade team in 2025.
