29. WILL BROUGH
Halfback
Born: Hull 2006
Former club: Wakefield Trinity
Senior debut: 2025
Leopards debut: awaited
Senior career record: 2 games, 11 goals
Will impressed as a young player with great potential playing for Wakefield’s academy and reserve sides and was snapped by then club head of rugby Chris Chester for the 2025 season to join the Leopards’ full-time playing squad. His father Danny was one of the game’s most prolific point-scorers and played alongside Chester in Hull’s Challenge Cup win 21 years ago.
Like his dad Will is a left-footed kicker and the opportunity to be coached by Adrian Lam was too good to pass up. After impressing in preseason Will was rewarded with a contract extension but then suffered a shoulder injury in the testimonial match at Warrington which kept him out of the early part of the season. He recovered to play regularly in the Reserves and made his senior debut on loan to Midlands Hurricanes towards the end of the season. He began the 2026 campaign playing for Salford on a week’s loan in their opening game against Oldham.
