Kavan joined Leopards ahead of the 2024 season and though still waiting for his Super League opportunity he has gained valuable experience playing on loan for Barrow Raiders in the Championship.

A young forward who developed through the Wigan Warriors scholarship and academy ranks, he is another young prospect identified by the Leopards coaching team.

Kavan made his senior debut on loan for Midlands Hurricanes in June 2023 and later played three games for Barrow Raiders in the Championship, the last in a fine away win at Bradford Bulls, before continuing his association with the Raiders in 2024 and 2025.

A former Wigan St Patrick’s junior, he represented England under-16s against Wales six years ago.
