The former Wigan Warriors prop joined the Leopards from Newcastle Thunder and played ten first team games in 2023, his debut season at Leigh. After injury and illness restricted his opportunities in both 2024 and 2025 Nathan will be looking to challenge again for a place in the 17 having signed an extension to his contract.

Wilde spent six years at Wigan Warriors as a junior and was a major part of their U19s Super League Academy double winning season in 2019. From there, Wilde moved on and signed for Newcastle Thunder ahead of the 2021 season. He made his senior debut in the Challenge Cup First Round against Swinton Lions, where he scored a try in a 16-28 defeat.

Over the two seasons he spent at Kingston Park, Wilde made 41 appearances for Newcastle and scored three tries. In 2024 he made a total of eight appearances in the Championship during loan spells with both Widnes and Doncaster. In 2025 he continued to impress at that level with an extended loan spell at Featherstone Rovers, making 19 appearances for Paul Cooke’s team.
