Louis signed a new three-year contract until the end of 2027 after making his Super League debut in his first season with the Leopards. He joined his hometown club from Swinton Lions and made his Leopards debut off the bench in the 28-28 draw against Castleford Tigers.
He went to become a regular member of the Leopards’ match day squad before a serious knee injury sadly curtailed his 2025 season. Alongside fellow knee injury victim David Armstrong he has spent the winter working hard to regain full match fitness.
Louis came through the ranks at Leigh Miners Rangers and won England youth honours. He signed professional forms for Swinton Lions after first playing for the then Centurions in a preseason Warm Up Game in January 2019 during John Duffy’s tenure as head coach.
He enjoyed an outstanding 2023 campaign as the Lions maintained their Championship status with a last day win at Halifax and scored 12 tries in 74 appearances for Swinton. A former Leigh St Mary’s High School pupil he is a fully qualified electrician
