Job Description:
- The Assistant Physiotherapist will assist the Head Physio on the day to day running of the medical department and will report to the Head of Rugby alongside the Head Coach on a daily basis.
- They will assist in the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries as well as ongoing monitoring of non-injured players.
- They will be expected to attend all fixtures for the 2025 Betfred Super League (Home, away and/or abroad).
- Match-day roles will include all medical preparation, on-field cover and post-match assessments & treatments.
- Work closely with the coaching department, S&C department and Sports Therapy staff to ensure players and staff are well supported on a day-to-day basis.
- To maintain professional governing body standards at all times.
- Adhere to rules and regulations put out by RFL and professional governing body at all times.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience in an elite sports environment
- BSc degree in Physiotherapy
- Valid HCPC and CSP registrations.
- Registered (with immediate effect) to work within the UK
- Valid UK driving license
- Immediate Medical Management on the Field of Play (IMMOFP) qualification or equivalent desired.
