Job Description:
The Head Physiotherapist will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the medical department and will report to the Head of Rugby, alongside the Head Coach, on a daily basis. They will oversee the prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries, as well as the ongoing monitoring of non-injured players.
The postholder will be expected to attend all fixtures for the 2025 Betfred Super League (home, away, and/or abroad).
Match-day responsibilities will include all medical preparation, on-field cover, and post-match assessments and treatments. They will work closely with the coaching department, S&C department, and Sports Therapy staff to ensure players and staff are well supported on a day-to-day basis.
The postholder is expected to maintain professional governing body standards at all times and adhere to the rules and regulations set out by the RFL and the professional governing body.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience in an elite sports environment
- BSc degree in Physiotherapy
- Valid HCPC and CSP registrations
- Registered to work within the UK (with immediate effect)
- Valid UK driving licence
- Immediate Medical Management on the Field of Play (IMMOFP) qualification or equivalent (desired)
