14 DAN NORMAN
Dan Norman, born on 8 September 1997 in Warrington, Cheshire, England, is an Ireland international rugby league footballer who proudly plays as a prop for the Leigh Leopards in the Betfred Super League. A Birchwood Community High School alumnus, Dan started his professional journey with the Widnes Vikings, debuting in the Super League in 2018. His career has seen him make significant contributions across various teams, including a loan period with the North Wales Crusaders and a short stint with the Salford Red Devils. Dan’s impressive performances earned him a spot with St Helens in 2021, where he extended his contract through the 2022 season before announcing his departure at the end of the 2023 season.

We at Leigh Leopards were thrilled to sign Dan on a two-year permanent deal in October 2023, recognizing his potential and skill. Previously, Dan joined us on a DR loan during the 2022 season, making a notable impact with two appearances and scoring a try. His international experience was further highlighted by his participation in the 2022 Rugby League World Cup, where he debuted for Ireland against New Zealand. As Dan joins us for the 2024 season, we are excited to see the significant impact he will undoubtedly bring to our squad, contributing to our goals and successes in the Super League.
