Zak Hardaker enjoyed a fine debut season at the Leopards Den and made a major contribution to the team’s successful season. Born on October 17, 1991, in Pontefract, England, Hardaker’s journey to sporting prominence began early, showcasing his exceptional talent from a young age. He made his senior debut with Featherstone Rovers in 2010, scoring 22 tries in 14 games, and then built his reputation at Leeds Rhinos.

His subsequent career has seen him play for Castleford, Wigan Warriors, enjoy a second spell at Leeds and also represent Penrith Panthers in the NRL in 2016. He made seven appearances for England and two for Great Britain and has amazed nearly 1,200 points in a professional career than now encompasses over 350 games, and which has seen him close in on the landmark of 150 career tries. His skill set and dedication to the sport earned him accolades such as the prestigious Man of Steel award in 2015, further solidifying his status as one of rugby league’s premier talents.
